Badass Logistics was established in 2022 in Kalispell, Montana, to fix a failure mode the industry had learned to live with. Industrial moves were traditionally split between separate vendors — a rigging outfit lifted the machine, a trucking company hauled it, and the handoff between them was where schedules slipped, loads were damaged and accountability disappeared. When something went wrong, each vendor pointed at the other. Badass was founded to remove that handoff entirely.
The operating idea is simple: one crew for the whole move. The team that unbolts and lifts a machine is the same team that loads it, secures it, hauls it and sets it on the new pad. Permits and route surveys for oversize and overweight loads are handled in-house rather than farmed out, so every move has a single plan, a single point of contact and a single company answerable from start to finish.
That structure changes how the work runs day to day. Because rigging and transport sit in one operation, the crew that plans the lift already knows the trailer it is loading onto, the route it will travel and the clearances at the destination. Nothing is discovered at the kerb on move day, and no detail is lost between companies — because there is no "between".
